勝浦の遠見岬神社には「お守り」や「おみくじ」の他に祈玉(いのりだま)

祈玉とは遠見岬神社にてご祈祷された石であり、こちらを平島の鳥居に投げて頂きます。

ご利益は主に海上安全・無病息災・勝負に勝つ・子授け・縁結び

Hirashima Tori Gate & the Tomisaki shrine "Wishing Stones"

Besides the regular rites which are common to any Shinto shrine, such as "omamori" (lucky charms) or "omikuji" (Fortune paper), there is also another unique local legend at Tomisaki Shrine in Katsuura, Japan that involves "Inori Tama" (Prayer Ball Stones or more widely known as Wishing Stones)
